Tiger woods

Postby seekingtheLord on February 22nd, 2010, 1:15 am

Let me start by saying one of the major things I love about this website is that it's not just a self help website it's a christian self help website MAJOR difference Major important difference anyway about tiger woods I don't know if anyone watched his speech but it was going pretty semi halfway good until it got to the 10 minute mark where he says and this isn't a exact quote but that in recent years he had wandered away from buta boota (I'm not sure how to spell that but you get the idea) but anyway he was going to get back into it and I'm personally thinking all he's doing is replacing one sin with another it's like having a cut on your leg and then going and putting a big gash in your arm to take your mind off your leg ughhhhhhhh!!!!
can't wait to hear that trumpet !!!

Hello seekingtheLord; Tiger was an IDOL to many people, but what is always typical with human idols, they fail!!! I haven't followed much about Tiger other than hearing about a string of affairs (ADULTERIES) which is quite typical for young men thrust into the limelight. They don't have any maturity to handle the attention they receive and especially if the Lord isn't involved in the life as well. That's a good lesson for you to take away from Tiger's life, seekingtheLord!!!

Titus 3:5-8 (New International Version)

5he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. 8This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.

1 Corinthians 6:12 (New International Version)

Sexual Immorality
12"Everything is permissible for me"—but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible for me"—but I will not be mastered by anything.

Hello seekingtheLord; I want you to know that we continue to pray for you that wisdom and knowledge will reside in your heart and that He will continue to work His will in your life. How are you hanging in there?
